Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant Pensacola, FL | On-site training required About the Role Join a growing team supporting one of the largest credit unions in the country as a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant! In this role, you'll help guide members through the mortgage loan process — from gathering documents to making sure everything's accurate and ready for underwriting. You'll be a key point of contact for members, helping make a stressful process feel simple and supported.
Pay & Schedule:
$19/hr | Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm | Full-time What You'll Do Support Loan Officers throughout the mortgage application process, from initial documentation to final submission Review loan files for completeness and accuracy, flagging any missing information or inconsistencies Coordinate with members to collect required documents, verify details, and resolve discrepancies Prepare and organize files for underwriting review, including credit reports, income verification, and title requests Serve as a helpful point of contact for members with questions throughout their loan journey Stay current on lending regulations and internal policies to keep files compliant What We're Looking For Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Familiarity with mortgage loan origination, documentation, or real estate lending (a plus, not always required) Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and legal documents Solid communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently or as part of a team Comfortable working with standard office/spreadsheet software and internal systems Why You'll Like It Here You'll be part of a supportive team that values accuracy, teamwork, and helping members through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
