This dynamic position combines hands-on candy crafting with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth shift management, exceptional customer service, and high-quality food production. The ideal individual for this position would gain an understanding of the store operations before learning the production of our products, great attention to detail is necessary. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of confections using precise techniques and food safety practices. Ensuring all treats meet quality standards and safety regulations in a timely manner Oversee shift operations, including staff scheduling, training, and supervising team members to maintain efficiency and morale Manage inventory control by monitoring supplies, ordering ingredients, and minimizing waste Operate POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting Deliver 5-star customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about products, providing samples, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Ensure staff is in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols across all areas of operation
Requirements Experience:
Previous retail or relevant leadership experience. Food industry is preferred.
Cleanliness:
Takes initiative to keep workspaces organized and tidy, as well as taking pride in creating product that is visually appealing as well.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, problem-solving, sales, communication, integrity, and customer focus.
Traits:
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, adaptable, punctual, and dependable.
Availability:
Flexibility and ability to work weekends is a must, as well as some holidays Individual must be comfortable with working a shift solo occasionally and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
