JOB DESCRIPTION

Central Kentucky Ag Credit might be the place for you . We are looking for amazing people with a passion for assisting others as candidates for a Loan Officer in our Frankfort Branch. This role performs a wide range of loan processing, client support, and administrative activities to assist in evaluating and preparing loan applications. This is a regular, full-time non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime pay on hours worked over 40 during a work week based on the business needs and your availability. Daily participation at our on-location sites is an important part of our culture. Please be mindful of commute distance when considering applying. As a Loan Officer, you'll play an essential role in supporting branch operations and helping our members succeed. You'll work closely with your branch to provide exceptional service, accurate loan processing, and dependable support-all while representing Ag Credit's trusted local presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Making Loans Uses sound judgement to make loans within delegated lending authority, timely, and in compliance with all lending regulations. Meets individual volume goals while maintaining the expected credit quality. Completes loan requests timely and maintains appropriate credit administration scores and credit quality percentages. Marketing and Business Development Contributes to branch volume goals and the development and promotion of the Association's image. Contributes to branch marketing plans and branch net earnings goals. Maintains prospect list and completes routine prospect visitation. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all loan packages. Servicing Loans Completes all loan servicing requests while ensuring accuracy of all data. Applies Association procedures and practices for all loan actions. Monitors all loan progress, classification, and quality. Fee Income and Related Activities Applies appropriate servicing fees, appraisal fees, and late charges. Promotes borrower attendance at the Annual Stockholders meeting. (Other Duties May be Assigned)
What You Bring:
Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics or Finance. 3+ years of related experience. Demonstrated computer proficiency and familiarity with financial databases and spreadsheet applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to employ diplomacy and tact with customers and prospects while articulating the benefits of Farm Credit. Ability to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions which serve the best interest of the Association and the borrower Current awareness of economic conditions and production technology affecting agriculture in the region.
