PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers. Interviews Residential and consumer loan applicants to facilitate a prequalification or application for any of the Bank's Residential loan products. Counsels applicants as to the different programs available. Actively cross sell the Bank's products and services. Requests, receives, and reviews customer application documentation (income, asset and credit documents as needed). Serves as the client contact during the application, processing and through closing milestones. Keeps client and constituents (agents, brokers, attorneys as authorized) updated as to status of loan. Responsible for communicating, verifying, and facilitating the pricing and locking of loans with the secondary market team/Lock desk. Monitors changes to internal and secondary market lending standards and practices. Works with Operations, the Closing department and Lock desk to facilitate the timely scheduling of a loan closing. The MLO participates in requests for missing or incomplete information required to close loan. Understand the Bank's Credit policy, approval authority, MLO responsibility, minimum standards, and application timelines. The MLO must understand the Bank's internal lending standards as well as regulatory requirements. Regularly contacts and solicits business from their own data base, realtors, networking groups and other professionals. Develop and deploy their own marketing and business development plan in order to establish a pipeline and network of referral sources. Monitor pipeline and lead generation progress and provide reporting on activity as needed.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Maintain an active registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System. Proficient with lending technologies including the Loan Origination System (LOS)- Encompass, Pricing Engine
- Optimal Blue, Marketing tools
- Surefire CRM and Mortgage Coach.
