Job Description

Required Overview Yacht Brokers of Annapolis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Closing Coordinator to join our team. This position serves as the operational hub between brokers, lenders, customers, title agencies, and internal departments to ensure every transaction is funded, documented, reconciled, and closed accurately and on time. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in yacht brokerage closings, marine lending, title and settlement services, mortgage closings or dealership finance operations. Marine industry experience is highly desirable but not required for candidates with strong backgrounds in settlement, funding, or closing operations. Duties Coordinate all aspects of the closing process from contract execution through final settlement. Prepare and review closing packages for accuracy and completeness, including purchase agreements, lender approvals, title and vessel documentation, payoff statements, and settlement paperwork. Coordinate communication among buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, documentation agents, and other parties to ensure all contractual deadlines and closing milestones are met. Reconcile transaction funds, including wire transfers, payoffs, commissions, and disbursements, ensuring all funds balance prior to closing. Maintain complete and accurate files for all brokerage closings. Monitor closing timelines and proactively address issues that could delay settlement. Support reporting, auditing, and compliance initiatives. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the transaction process. Create and maintain complete files for each brokerage listing, including contracts, titles, registrations, documentation, and supporting paperwork. Assist in maintaining company business licenses, insurance records, and regulatory compliance documentation. Assist with boat shows, marketing events, and other company promotions. Perform general office administrative duties, including maintaining office and marketing supplies and providing additional administrative support as needed. Experience Required Strong financial reconciliation, document review, and organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail and Adobe Preferred 2+ years of experience in a closing, settlement, funding, title, escrow, finance, or transaction coordination role. Experience with yacht brokerage closings. Experience in marine dealership finance or closing operations. Experience in mortgage settlement, title, escrow, or loan funding. Knowledge of vessel documentation, registration, and marine lending processes. Experience coordinating wire transfers and financial disbursements.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
