Job Description
Main Duties:
Originate mortgage loans by working with screened potential customers who are transferred directly to you - no cold calling. Analyze borrowers' financial situations and recommend appropriate loan products. Educate clients on loan features, terms, and repayment options. Collect and review initial documentation to ensure application packages are complete and compliant. Maintain strong knowledge of current lending guidelines, loan products, interest rates, and compliance regulations. Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and closing teams to ensure a smooth and timely loan process. Build and maintain relationships with realtors, brokers, builders, and other referral sources. Accurately maintain systems with up-to-date loan pipeline data and client communications. Meet or exceed monthly production goals while ensuring quality and compliance. Provide exceptional customer service. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. No previous mortgage experience required. Sales, customer service, retail, or other client-facing experience is preferred. Recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Extensive mortgage, product, and sales training will be provided. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
