Job Description

Loan Servicing Manager CSP is partnering with a well established hard money lender in their search for a Servicing Manager. This individual will own the loan servicing function from closing through payoff or resolution. This role is the right seat for someone who is deeply organized, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning outcomes for borrower payments, draw disbursements, investor distributions, delinquency management, and regulatory compliance across our servicing portfolio. The Servicing Manager protects capital for our investors and the company by ensuring loans are serviced accurately, on time, and in full compliance with applicable state and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Servicing OperationsManage post-closing servicing of the full loan portfolio (fix-and-flip, bridge, DSCR, and small-balance commercial) using loan servicing software platform.

Process borrower payments, late fees, per diem interest, and payoff statements accurately and on schedule.

Administer escrow and impound accounts for taxes, insurance, and reserves.

Review, approve, and disburse construction and rehab draw requests in coordination with inspections and budget tracking.

Process loan extensions, modifications, partial releases, and payoff/lien release documentation, including UCC filings and terminations.

Investor Capital & ReportingTrack investor capital allocations, participations, and payment waterfalls for loans funded with HNW investor capital.

Coordinate timely and accurate investor distributions and reporting in partnership with capital markets and accounting.

Maintain servicing records that support accurate 1098 tax reporting and year-end investor statements.

Default, Delinquency & Risk ManagementMonitor the delinquency pipeline and escalate past-due loans per established workout and default protocols.

Coordinate forbearance agreements, workout plans, and loss mitigation conversations with borrowers.

Manage foreclosure referrals, coordinate with outside counsel and trustees, and track foreclosure timelines and costs across all applicable states.

Maintain a scorecard of portfolio delinquency, non-performing loan percentage, and foreclosure inventory for weekly leadership review.

Compliance & ControlsEnsure servicing practices comply with state-specific lending and servicing regulations across East Coast footprint, including licensing requirements w applicable.

Maintain servicing policies and procedures (SOPs) and ensure consistent application across the servicing team.

Serve as the primary point of contact for servicing-related audits, investor due diligence requests, and regulatory inquiries.

Identify and remediate servicing errors quickly, documenting root cause using IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve).Team & Cross-Functional LeadershipOwn the Servicing seat on the Accountability Chart; hire, train, and manage servicing staff as the portfolio scales.

Partner with originations, underwriting, capital markets, and accounting to ensure a clean handoff from closing to servicing.

Present servicing scorecard results and open issues at weekly meetings.
Requirements & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in loan servicing, mortgage servicing, or private/hard money lending operations.

Working knowledge of LTV, LTC, LTARV, draw administration, escrow accounting, and default/foreclosure processes.

Experience with loan servicing software (e.g., Baseware, FCI, Shaw Systems, or similar) and strong Excel skills.

Familiarity with state licensing and compliance requirements for non-institutional lenders across multiple East Coast states.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for borrower, investor, and legal counsel interactions.

High attention to detail and a track record of managing sensitive financial data with accuracy and discretion.

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in private lending servicing will be considered.
