MLO Apprentice Prime Home Lending - 1.0 Southfield, MI Job Details Full-time $28,800 - $265,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Underwriting Basic math Attention to detail Organizational skills Credit analysis Full Job Description Job Overview Duties As a Mortgage Loan Officer Apprentice, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and supporting all stages of the loan lifecycle. This paid training opportunity is designed for motivated individuals who are eager to grow in a fast-paced, rewarding environment focused on helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. Our career development path provides clear advancement opportunities. You will begin as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) Trainee, progress to an MLO Assistant role, and ultimately graduate to become a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer. Qualifications Strong interest in financial sales, mortgage lending, or related financial services roles. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused attitude. Basic math proficiency and experience with credit analysis or loan processing preferred. Experience with mortgage servicing software such as Quicken or other financial software is advantageous. Ability to learn underwriting procedures and support loan officer activities effectively. Strong organizational skills including 10-key typing accuracy and attention to detail.
Pay:
$28,800.00 - $265,000.00 per year
