Job Description
Responsible for providing support to the lending department by conducting Loan functions associated with originated and paid loans; uploading/inputting and funding loans in the core and processing disbursements related to the loans, focusing on accuracy in crediting and debiting the appropriate accounts and maintaining balanced Internal Deposit account registers for the Detroit Lakes loan department. Execute Collateral Perfection and releases. Maintain Ticklers. Process Detroit Lakes paid loans in a consistent, timely manner. Essential Functions Loan Boarding, Funding & Core System Management Build and maintain CIFs and loan accounts in the core system. Upload/input loans to the core. Fund loans and process disbursements, including wires and draw requests. Maintain Customer Fee balance reports and balanced internal account check registers. Process SmartPay loan payments and other loan payments. Manage loans unposted and resolve exceptions. Manage and Monitor Flood Loans. Support loan reversals and sweeps as needed. Loan Documentation, Perfection & File Maintenance Record, file, and secure all required loan documentation ensuring proper lien perfection. Execute collateral perfection and releases. Prepare and submit satisfactions and lien releases for paid loans. Order and manage title work, appraisals, flood determinations, and other required documentation. Prepare appraisal engagement letters. Obtain, track, and maintain collateral insurance documentation; process insurance mail. Scan documentation into loan, collateral, and customer imaging folders. Maintain the tickler system for customer, loan, and collateral documentation. Complete recording and filing of loan documents. Perform annual delinquent real estate tax monitoring. Conduct collateral box audits. Loan Servicing & Customer Support Respond to loan customer calls and servicing inquiries. Process draw requests and wires related to loans. Complete loan verification requests. Provide Loan Checkback services. Process paid notes in accordance with procedures, laws, and regulations. Manage lien release/satisfaction requests. Handle default letters, pre‑foreclosure letters, denials, and adverse action notices. Scan Documentation for applicable loans and denials. Manage skip‑a‑pay program. Process loan ops emails and servicing communications. Loan Processing Support Scan and maintain loan files. Periodic Upload and funding of loans in coordination with loan officers and processors. Compliance, Accuracy & Internal Controls Maintain accurate and balanced internal accounts for the Detroit Lakes loan department. Protect the privacy of sensitive business and customer information by following all confidentiality, security, and safeguarding policies. Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with bank procedures, laws, and regulations. Perform related duties as assigned by the Loan Operations Officer or Chief Operations Officer.
