North Star Community Credit Union is seeking a results-driven professional to originate, manage, and supervise our commercial loan portfolio while shaping agricultural lending strategy in the Grafton region.

The Ideal Candidate35 years of commercial or agricultural lending experienceExpertise in North Dakota agricultural marketsProven success with large-scale crop and livestock producers, agribusiness operations, or complex farm financing structuresExperience managing significant agricultural loan portfolios in rural financial institutionsStrong analytical skills and ability to structure creative, tailored lending solutionsRelationship-focused, results-driven, autonomous, and ready to leadBachelors degree or equivalent industry certification preferred
Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate, Manage, and Supervise Loans:
Take ownership of North Stars commercial loan portfolio, maintaining and improving asset quality while developing new and existing business relationships
Business Development:
Grow your portfolio by cultivating high-value agricultural and commercial clients in the Minot area
Financial Analysis & Structuring:
Review business financials, assess risk, and structure loans that maximize client success and portfolio performance
Portfolio Oversight & Compliance:
Monitor assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
Member & Community Engagement:
Provide strategic guidance to members and represent North Star in industry and local events to strengthen relationships and lending opportunities

Interpersonal Skills:
