Job Description

The Nebraska Energy Federal Credit Union is looking for an energetic, team goal orientated and fast-learning individual to direct and coordinate lending activities within the lending department.
Primary responsibilities are:
Development of the Credit Union's growth of loans. Directs and monitors lending operations to ensure that the credit union meets established goals and objectives with respect to lending. Monitors product delivery and quality and takes action to resolve problems. Arranges for loan applications to go to the loan committee. Provides an overview and recommendations for the committee. Prepares loan department updates, and periodic reports for management's financial and operational reports including; new loan report, asset/liability report, and loan officer statistical report. Develops, proposes, gains acceptance for and implements lending program policy and strategy; leads activity related to new product development with respect to lending programs. Participates in establishment of annual department budget and monitors performance to budget throughout the year. Ensures the credit union is in compliance with all lending regulations; develops procedural changes as compliance requires or new programs demand. Manages updates to all lending policies. Monitor associates' workflow of applications to ensure they are being handled timely and correctly. Monthly coaching and ongoing mentoring of associates including evaluating and performing reviews of designated staff to ensure quality of work and service. Able to act as a Loan Officer when the need arises. Qualifications and Skills Two to Five years of similar or related experience in a financial institution preferred. (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship or other training program. Motivating or influencing others is a material part of the job. Demonstrated experience in building relationships, with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are required. Considerable judgement, with the ability to problem solve within, is required. High level of initiative to meet performance goals. Leadership with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to build rapport. Positive attitude and Excellent member service required.

$86,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
