Full-timeABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lending Coordinator to support our lending team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in commercial banking while providing essential administrative and operational support to loan officers and processors.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and process commercial loan applications and supporting documentation
- Prepare loan packages for underwriting review and approval
- Maintain accurate loan files and ensure compliance with banking regulations
- Communicate with clients, internal departments, and external vendors regarding loan status and requirements
- Schedule loan closings and coordinate required documentation
- Monitor loan conditions and ensure all requirements are met before funding
- Prepare loan agreements, commitment letters, and closing disclosures
- Track and organize loan-related correspondence and records
- Assist with customer service inquiries and provide general administrative support
- Follow up on outstanding items and maintain project timelines
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or associate degree preferred
- Proven administrative or banking experience (1+ years preferred)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Customer service experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Banking or financial services experience
- Familiarity with loan origination software or banking systems
- Knowledge of commercial lending processes and documentation
- Experience with loan compliance and regulatory requirements
- Bilingual skills (Spanish a plus)
