Position Overview:
The Inside Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer engages a flow of daily leads, including inbound calls, internal transfers, and call lists, to support consistent production and pipeline growth. This role operates within an inbound‑plus‑outbound sales model, providing regular opportunities for client conversations and business development. This role functions in a dynamic call center environment, utilizing established systems and processes designed to support efficiency, scalability, and sustained activity. The Inside Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer contributes to overall sales performance by maintaining organized communication, conducting proactive outreach, and supporting the client experience.Job Responsibilities:
Handle inbound inquiries and guide prospective borrowers through the initial application process. Conduct daily outbound calls to targeted lead lists to generate additional loan opportunities. Manage all assigned leads with timely outreach, consistent follow‑up, and thorough documentation. Conduct clear, compliant, and efficient mortgage‑related conversations with prospective clients. Maintain and advance a personal loan pipeline by coordinating next steps and moving applications toward closing. Stay consistent with calls, follow‑ups, and client touchpoints to maximize conversion and overall production.Qualifications and Skills:
Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license, in accordance with the SAFE Act. 1+ years of experience in direct sales within the mortgage industry. Experience conducting outbound sales calls and managing phone‑based outreach. Skilled in initiating and leading phone‑based sales conversations with prospective clients. Skilled in maintaining focus and performance in a goal‑driven sales environments. Skilled in proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Skilled in applying feedback, refining techniques, and improving performance over time.
