Job Description Associa is currently looking for a Escrow/Resale-Spec to join our team in Fort Lee, NJ. As a Escrow/Resale-Specialist, you will be responsible for all of the opening, closing, and maintenance of escrow accounts including document creation. Individuals in this position may interact with escrow customers. The day-to-day responsibilities of an Escrow/Resale-Specialist typically involve opening escrow orders, review and verification of final and closing documents, preparing customer billing statements and answering escalated questions regarding billings. Additionally responsible for escrow logs, reports, and other files. What do we offer? The Escrow/Resale-Specialist helps the company by: Communicate requirements and other information to clients including title exceptions. Prepare and review documents for closing and handle the disbursement and follow up of all escrow transactions. Open orders, input closing statements from a worksheet prepared by escrow officers. Interpret earnest money agreements as they relate to closing and prepare all documents required for transactions. Acquire all information needed to prepare required documents and escrow instructions from all parties. Request Inspection reports. Submit Buyer(s) for Membership Approval. Balance escrow file. Draft checks and closing statements. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level. Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). Professional customer service skills. Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level. Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level. Knowledge of general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.). Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms. Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities. Time management and time critical prioritization skills. Experience with Co-Op resales & sublease application preferred.
