A-Z Lending is actively expanding into new markets and is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator ready to step into a City Leader role in our newest city. This is not a standard originator position — we are looking for a proven producer who has built a book of business, understands what it takes to lead by example, and is ready to help establish and grow an A-Z Lending presence in their local market. You'll originate your own loans while laying the foundation for a growing team, with full operational support, marketing resources, and leadership backing from day one. What You'll Do As a Loan Originator Build and manage a strong pipeline of purchase and refinance loans from day one Educate and advise borrowers on loan options tailored to their financial goals Collect, review, and submit complete loan applications and documentation Guide clients through the loan process with clear communication and confidence Ensure all loans are originated in full compliance with federal and state regulations Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure smooth, on-time closings Represent A-Z Lending professionally in the community and marketplace As a City Leader / Branch Manager Serve as the face of A-Z Lending in a newly entered market Build and develop referral relationships with real estate agents, builders, and community partners Recruit, mentor, and support additional loan officers as the branch grows Set the tone for branch culture — accountability, professionalism, and client-first service Partner with leadership on local marketing strategy, branding, and business development initiatives Provide feedback and local market insight to help shape A-Z Lending's expansion strategy What We're Looking For Active NMLS license (state licensing required) Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator — you have a track record of closed loans and referral relationships Prior branch leadership, team lead, or mentoring experience is a strong plus Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loan products Entrepreneurial mindset — you're not just looking for a desk, you're looking to build something Self-motivated and capable of working independently while representing a growing brand Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously Professional, positive, and committed to integrity in every transaction Why A-Z Lending?
