Full Time Location:
Mount Vernon, Ohio Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM About Us We are a busy, community-focused title company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients in real estate, lending, and legal transactions. Our team values accuracy, professionalism, and teamwork, and we are seeking a motivated Title & Escrow Assistant to support our growing operations. Position Overview The Title & Escrow Assistant will provide support to escrow officers and title staff in all stages of the closing process. This role includes preparing and reviewing documents, assisting with title work, coordinating with clients and industry professionals, and helping ensure accurate and efficient closings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Open and set up new title and escrow files Assist with preparation and review of title commitments, closing packages, and settlement statements Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to collect required documents and information Order and track payoffs, surveys, homeowner's insurance, and other items needed for closing Assist with scheduling closings and maintaining the office calendar Provide general support to escrow officers and title examiners Ensure accuracy of documents and compliance with industry standards and regulations Handle administrative tasks to support day-to-day office operations Qualifications Prior experience in title, escrow, real estate, or banking preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Compensation & Benefits Pay commensurate with experience and consistent with industry and community standards 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance coverage Paid time off and holiday schedule How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to hr@kclawohio.com.
