In this vital role, you will coordinate all aspects of escrow processes, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with legal and underwriting guidelines, and excellent client communication. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth closings, uphold the integrity of title records, and deliver exceptional customer service to our clients and partners. Duties Manage the entire escrow process from opening to closing, including title review, document preparation, and disbursement of funds Conduct thorough title searches and review title records, public records, legal descriptions, easements, and other real estate documentation to ensure clear ownership rights Perform detailed research on property histories, rights-of-way, and mapping software to verify property boundaries and legal descriptions Coordinate with title companies, lenders, attorneys, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and timely closings Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, real estate law, and internal policies throughout all transactions Prepare and review closing documents such as deeds, settlement statements, affidavits, and other legal documents required for real estate closings Utilize real estate transaction management software and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to streamline processes and maintain accurate records Qualifications Proven experience in law office settings or real estate transaction management roles with a focus on escrow or closing procedures Strong knowledge of real estate law, title processing, legal descriptions, easements, and public records research Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with real estate documentation review tools Experience with title search procedures, title review processes, underwriting guidelines adherence, and title record management Skilled in using mapping software, GIS tools, and real estate transaction management software to enhance efficiency Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach Ability to interpret complex legal descriptions and ensure accuracy in documentation review Join us in delivering exceptional service by expertly managing each step of the real estate closing process.
