Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and motivated Junior Loan Processor / Loan Officer Assistant to provide direct support to a busy Mortgage Loan Originator and Sales Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Mortgage or real estate experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Primary Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day mortgage loan processing and loan officer support Collect, organize, review, and follow up on client documentation Maintain accurate and organized loan files Communicate professionally with clients, real estate agents, escrow companies, and other business partners Track outstanding items, deadlines, appointments, and follow-ups Maintain and manage the Loan Officer's calendar and schedule Assist with emails, data entry, document preparation, and general administrative duties Manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan process Required Qualifications Fluent in both English and Spanish Strong typing and computer skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional written and verbal communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality Comfortable communicating directly with clients and business professionals Ability to independently maintain schedules, reminders, and follow-up tasks Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general computer applications Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in mortgage lending, real estate, escrow, banking, or a professional office environment Familiarity with mortgage documentation and the loan process Experience working with a Loan Origination System (LOS) or CRM Social media and digital marketing experience is a strong plus Ability to assist with business social media accounts, including creating and scheduling posts Experience with social media advertising, marketing campaigns, Canva, or similar platforms Comfortable helping maintain a consistent and professional online business presence The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, proactive, professional, and comfortable wearing multiple hats . You should be able to keep track of numerous tasks without requiring constant supervision and take pride in keeping both yourself and the Loan Officer organized. This position has the potential to grow as you gain experience and become more involved in mortgage operations, client management, marketing, and business development. Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
