Closer Location:
Madison, WI Schedule:
Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Hours:

Pay:
$24-$26/hour
Contract Duration:

Start Date:
September 28 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join a collaborative lending team on a temporary basis. The primary focus of this role will be mortgage loan processing, including gathering documentation, managing loan files, coordinating pre-underwriting activities, and keeping multiple loan timelines on track through closing. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized mortgage professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with internal teams and third parties, and ensuring loan files stay on schedule. Key Responsibilities Review mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy. Gather and verify required borrower and loan documentation. Order and review title work, appraisals, flood certifications, and employment, income, and asset verifications. Input, update, and maintain accurate loan information in Encompass . Complete loan pre-work and prepare files for underwriting. Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, title companies, and other third parties to obtain outstanding documentation. Submit complete loan packages to underwriting. Review and clear post-underwriting conditions. Ensure loan files comply with investor guidelines, TRID, and applicable regulatory requirements. Prepare closing packages and coordinate with title companies and closing agents. Track multiple loans through the pipeline and maintain expected turn times. Monitor closing dates and work backward to establish and manage critical deadlines. Collaborate closely with other team members to keep loans moving efficiently. Qualifications Previous mortgage loan processing experience. Experience working with mortgage loan documentation and underwriting requirements. Experience managing multiple loan files and competing deadlines. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail.
