Senior Loan Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Loan Specialist to join the Credit Services Administration team in Pittsburgh, PA. This hybrid role supports syndicated loan administration and middle office portfolio management activities, with a focus on loan closings, credit agreement interpretation, facility setup, lifecycle management, regulatory support, and portfolio monitoring. This role is based in Pittsburgh with an expectation of 4 days onsite per week and standard hours of 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Eastern.

Key Responsibilities:
    Syndicated Loan Closings:

    Lead end-to-end syndicated loan closings, including condition precedent validation, funding coordination, lender allocations, and seamless onboarding of new deals

      Credit Documentation Review:

      Analyze and interpret credit agreements and related legal documentation to extract and validate key economic and structural terms such as rates, fees, covenants, maturities, and other deal attributes

        Facility Setup & Lifecycle Management:

        Own facility setup and maintenance across the loan lifecycle, including onboarding, amendments, waivers, extensions, repricings, restructurings, and related updates

          Portfolio Monitoring:

          Monitor assigned loan portfolios, reconcile activity across stakeholders, and support covenant compliance and ongoing portfolio administration

            Stakeholder Coordination:

            Work closely with lenders, loan operations, administrators, regulatory partners, and other internal business stakeholders across multiple platforms and lines of business

              Regulatory & Quality Control Support:

              Ensure data integrity, quality control, and compliance with internal procedures and applicable reporting requirements, including support for regulatory processes such as FR Y-14Q and 2052a

                Cross-Functional Change Support:

                Support migration to a new loan system by partnering with business teams on requirements gathering, testing, and stakeholder coordination

                  Cross-Training & Development:

                  Build expertise across different segments such as corporates, real estate, and financial institutions, with opportunity for broader cross-training over time

                  Qualifications:
                  • 2+ years of experience in loan agency, syndicated loans, middle office, credit administration, or a related financial services function
                  • Experience reading and interpreting credit agreements and other complex legal or lending documentation
                  • Strong understanding of the syndicated loan lifecycle, including closings, onboarding, maintenance events, and portfolio monitoring
                  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
                  • Ability to work effectively in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
                  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across a broad set of internal and external stakeholders
                  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite
                  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration
                  Preferred Experience:
                  • 3-5 years of relevant loan agency experience supporting syndicated loans and complex documentation review
                  • Familiarity with
                  LSTA/LMA

                  standards and syndicated loan settlement or par loan trading processes

                  • Experience with workflow tools such as ClearPar / Markit
