As a Lending Specialist, you will guide members through the lending process from application to closing. This role combines loan origination, loan processing, credit analysis, and member education while ensuring compliance with credit union policies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with members by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate lending solutions.
  • Evaluate loan requests and determine loan eligibility.
  • Assist members with completing loan applications and gathering required documentation.
  • Analyze credit reports, income, and financial information to assess risk.
  • Prepare, process, and fund consumer loans accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the Titling Clerk to ensure liens are perfected and documentation is complete.
  • Process lien releases and maintain accurate loan records.
  • Ensure all loan documentation complies with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Loan Officer to maintain quality lending standards.
  • Promote the credit union's loan products and educate members on available options.
  • Deliver exceptional member service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
