Job Description

Role:
To assist Sr. Commercial Bank Officer and other Commercial Lenders with medium to large portfolios that have moderate to complex degree of difficulty in their daily duties including; to make or assist with customer calls, to help prepare memos and provide service related to existing and proposed loan requests, to obtain and/or prepare loan documents, work with outside service providers to arrange loan closings, providing high level customer service support, and performing special projects as directed by management.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 25% Assists RMs with complex transactions including; preparing package for underwriting on new loans and renewals, prepares summary structure memos to be sent to credit manager for CAM preparation, gathering and tracking necessary documentation related to underwriting package and closing preparation. E 20% Assists and works with RMs at loan closings, including working with title companies and closing attorneys; handles less complex closings as may be necessary at the request of RMs. E 15% Calls on business clients/prospects in partnership with the Commercial Relationship Managers to develop new business relationships. E 10% Suggests new products and services to clients after probing for possible needs. E 10% Runs the Pricing Model for RMs with suggested fees and loan pricing E 10% Reviews monthly and quarterly loan compliance on transactions as well as required financial statements and reports as may be necessary per CAMs. E 5% Assists with and prepares RLMs on a quarterly basis as needed. N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

1. To comply with the letter and with the spirit of the bank's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. 2. To maintain the confidentiality of customer and any other sensitive information. 3. To be punctual and have regular attendance. 4. To ensure that the department provides friendly, professional, timely, and personal service to all customers. 5. To ensure that all lending activity is within established policies and regulations. 6. To keep management informed regarding key operational issues affecting the department. 7. To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity. 8. To acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures; to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. Other Skills Commercial loan documentation skills including understanding of certain documents used in loan transactions. Proficiency with the bank's loan processing software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Physical Requirements The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to interact with associates or clients and access office machinery and file cabinets. The person in the position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and printer. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to branches and other locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as calculators, computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines.
