Duties Oversee the entire escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and legal standards. Conduct comprehensive title searches and review title records, public records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and identify easements or right-of-way issues. Manage real estate documentation review, including deeds, affidavits, and other legal descriptions, to ensure accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with title companies, lenders, agents, and clients to facilitate seamless communication throughout the transaction lifecycle. Utilize real estate transaction management software, mapping software, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other tools to track progress and prepare necessary documentation. Perform title review and processing tasks such as easements research, title search validation, and title record organization. Ensure adherence to all underwriting guidelines and legal requirements during the escrow process while maintaining detailed records of all transactions. Support clients by providing clear explanations of escrow procedures, status updates, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Experience Proven experience in escrow services or real estate transaction management is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, title search techniques, and public records research. Familiarity with title processing software, mapping tools, GIS systems, and other relevant technology platforms used in escrow operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally. Ability to review real estate documentation thoroughly while adhering to underwriting guidelines. Prior experience managing real estate closings from start to finish in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling legal descriptions, title records, and related documentation.
