Successful and growing mortgage company located in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a hungry, driven business development Loan Officer to support one of the nation's top producing mortgage teams and grow our in-house lending programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to support and grow a winning team committed to help people achieve their dream of home ownership. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who's reliable, accountable, a self-starter, great with relationship development- who works well under pressure, and a quick study. This candidate will be a mortgage industry professional (experience preferred, but not required), with current knowledge of mortgage products, programs, LOS systems, required documentation and understand the flow of a mortgage loan file. This is an in-house role focused on new accounts — you'll own relationships from first conversation through funding, not just chase closings. What you'll do:

• Maintain and grow relationships with our banking partners
• Manage client relationships from start to finish
• Keep loan files organized and moving, start to close
• Develop new in-house lending opportunities and new accounts
• Manage our home equity program and bank partnerships What we're looking for:
• Driven, coachable, hungry to grow
• A relationship-builder who can also speak the language of lending (rates, terms, the financial side of a deal)
• Banking/lending experience preferred, not required — we'll train the right person
• Organized and comfortable managing multiple files at once
• Driven to succeed and great motivation to grow our winning platform

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
