Loan Fund Coordinator

SALARY RANGE

: 47,000 GENERAL

DESCRIPTION/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Loan Fund Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with loan origination, underwriting and marketing of a multi state loan program. Some travel will be required as field visits are performed to assist applicants and borrowers as well as marketing the program at conferences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists in the solicitation of individual loans. Originate, process and closes individual loans. 2. Supports the loan underwriting process by reviewing loan applications for deficiencies, clarity and technical soundness and preparing loan applications for review. 3. Creates and maintains tracking devices for loan inquiries, applications and borrowers. 4. Analyzes, compiles and generates historical statistical data to support proposals. 5. Assists in the administration and servicing of the Loan Fund program by mailing loan acknowledgements. This includes preparing payment vouchers and certificate of satisfactions for loan payoff. 6. Provides technical assistance as needed to prospective applicants by assisting applicants with completing SERCAP's loan applications. 7. Assists with maintaining loan files. 8. Provides detailed reporting for the programs, and completes reports as necessary. 9. Creating and writing SOP for the loan fund department. 10. Performs other duties as needed and directed by the Loan Manager, Director of Loan Fund or President & CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS

•

Education:

Associates degree or higher in business or related field.

•

Skills:

Have the ability to establish a rapport with a wide variety of individuals and capable of working with a minimum of supervision. Skilled in the use of computers with an emphasis in word processing and spreadsheets. Good written and oral communications skills.

•

Experience:

Experience in loan documentation, processing, servicing, origination, and closing.

•

Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of standard consumer lending practices such as

MLO, RESPA, HUD

preferred, but not required.
