Our Mortgage Loan Officers are passionate about assisting clients with their mortgage needs. As a Mortgage Loan Officer with Johnson Financial Group you will be responsible for the origination of residential mortgage loans, generating new business along with promoting and marketing mortgage products and services to clients and referral sources. You are also responsible for consistently meeting sales, cross-sales and referral goals. Our loan officers dependably build strong relationships with their customers, which lends itself to deepening their customer's financial relationship with Johnson Financial Group.

Key Responsibilities:
Self-starter that demonstrates an attention to detail and has an efficient file flow system. Use discretion to collect and analyze the necessary client information in order to determine the appropriate loan structure. Advise clients on loan application process. Help client complete the loan application and execute disclosures. Provide advice to clients on benefits and drawbacks of various loan products including private mortgage insurance, escrows, points, interest rates, and major market conditions. Analyze, calculate and prepare loan for underwriting (income, debt-to-income ratios, collateral). Make judgment about client's ability to make payments on a mortgage. Develop and execute a detailed business plan to include specific marketing activities designed to meet established production goals. These activities include, but are not limited to, community involvement, industry participation, sales calls, and office presentations. Proficient in Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass, CRM Systems such as Surefire, Hootsuite, etc. Proficient using Microsoft systems such as Power Point, Excel, Word Executes strong pipeline management following TRID and Reg B, Reg Z guidelines Executes strong quality benchmarks with loans including minimal cure tolerances, adhering to rate lock timelines, etc. Strong communication skills as required for managing adverse conversations professionally while maintaining dignity and respect for all involved (turndowns, underwriting advocacy, etc) Required experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred. Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the Safe Act of 2008. Minimum 3 years mortgage origination experience highly preferred. Excellent sales, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Involvement within the community and with other broker/real estate representatives.
