Overview The Loan Processor II position is responsible for producing loan files across consumer and commercial channels. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in reviewing, documenting and processing loan applications while ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. You'll coordinate with loan officers to ensure all documentation aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Duties Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards such as TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) regulations. Ensure all loans comply with conventional mortgage guidelines. Utilize loan origination systems to input data accurately, track application progress, and manage documentation workflows efficiently. Coordinate with clients through clear communication channels to gather additional information, clarify details, and provide updates on application status. Maintain strict compliance with loan regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing laws, and banking regulatory standards throughout the processing cycle. Collaborate with internal teams on consumer and commercial loan documentation review for mortgage servicing processes to ensure smooth transaction flow. Experience Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage processing within the banking industry. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in loan processing or loan operations. Strong understanding of TRID compliance and conventional mortgage lending procedures for consumer and commercial processing. Familiarity with mortgage servicing systems. Excellent knowledge of banking regulations related to mortgage processing and financial compliance standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for documentation management and internal communication purposes. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling loan documentation, client communication, and internal reporting processes.
