Loan Officer Assistant The Igbinovia Group Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $75,000 a year 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Full Job Description Loan Officer Assistant The Igbinovia Group | CrossCountry Mortgage About the Role The Igbinovia Group of CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our Loan Officers and help deliver an exceptional experience for our clients and Realtor partners. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, customer-service focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced mortgage environment. This role will work closely with the Loan Officer, borrowers, Realtors, processors, and other members of the lending team to help keep loans moving efficiently from application through closing. Key Responsibilities Assist Loan Officers with the day-to-day management of their loan pipeline Communicate with borrowers regarding outstanding documentation and loan status Collect, organize, and review borrower documents for completeness Follow up with borrowers to obtain required income, asset, and other documentation Assist with initial disclosures and other loan documentation Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, insurance agents, and other third parties Help ensure files are complete and ready for processing and underwriting Maintain accurate and timely updates in the company's loan origination system Assist with pre-qualification and pre-approval processes as directed by the Loan Officer Provide excellent communication and follow-up with borrowers and Realtor partners Help coordinate closing-related items and communicate important updates to the appropriate parties Respond to phone calls, emails, and other client inquiries in a professional and timely manner Maintain organized electronic loan files and records Help identify potential issues or missing documentation Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process Support the Loan Officer with Realtor relationships, marketing activities, and client events when needed What We're Looking For Mortgage lending or financial services experience preferred Previous Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, Loan Coordinator, or administrative experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously Strong follow-up skills and a proactive approach to problem solving Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable working with technology and learning mortgage software and systems Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information Strong customer-service mindset Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a team The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done.
