Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Post-Funding Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition from loan approval to successful mortgage lending. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for managing loan documentation, verifying compliance with industry regulations, and supporting the loan lifecycle with precision and enthusiasm. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our lending processes, uphold regulatory standards, and deliver exceptional customer service to our clients. Responsibilities Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations such as FNMA (Fannie Mae), TILA (Truth in Lending Act), TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure), and Fair Housing laws. Ensure all post-funding activities align with mortgage servicing standards, including loan setup, payment processing, escrow analysis, and ongoing compliance checks. Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients through internal communication channels to resolve documentation discrepancies or issues promptly. Monitor loan portfolios for adherence to mortgage servicing guidelines related to non-QM, FHA (Federal Housing Administration), and conventional mortgage loans. Maintain accurate records of all loan files using BytePro or other mortgage management systems while ensuring adherence to data security protocols. Assist in preparing reports related to loan processing status, compliance audits, and industry regulation updates. Experience Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage servicing within the financial services sector. Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, FHA loans, and conventional mortgage lending processes. Strong understanding of mortgage regulations including
TILA, TRID
compliance, Fair Housing laws, and banking regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel) for reporting and documentation purposes. Knowledge of BytePro or similar mortgage management software systems is preferred. Excellent internal communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset.
