Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Processor for a direct hire opportunity in Aliso Viejo, CA. This role is ideal for a mortgage lending professional who thrives in a fast-paced origination environment and has experience coordinating loan commitments, borrower documentation, title, escrow, appraisal, disclosures, and closing requirements. The Commercial Loan Processor will play a key role in supporting annual origination goals, maintaining an accurate loan pipeline, and helping deliver a responsive, professional experience for brokers and borrowers. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a collaborative lending team, values clear communication, and takes ownership of moving commercial and investment-purpose loans from commitment through closing. Key Responsibilities
- Process and close commercial loan transactions while supporting annual origination volume goals of approximately $100M.
- Issue loan commitments, borrower loan packages, application forms, disclosures, loan documents, and supporting documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate daily pipeline updates, establish priorities, and communicate clearly with the loan origination team, brokers, borrowers, title, escrow, insurance providers, and appraisers.
- Schedule and participate in borrower Zoom interviews, focusing on ability to repay, borrower background, use of proceeds, and transaction details.
- Review preliminary title reports, income information, property values, insurance documents, escrow items, and closing documents to help ensure clean and compliant closings.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, document broker outreach in ACT, and support relationship management through consistent follow-up and broker appreciation processes. Compensation and Benefits
