Description:
The Lending Assistant position is responsible for conducting a variety of documentation and recordkeeping functions for commercial, agricultural, residential, and consumer loan files including, but not limited to: Perform all loan processing, servicing and reporting functions. Prepare loan documents and disbursements as directed by the loan officer. Ensure the proper documentation is collected and retained for all loan requests. Collect supporting documentation and order services required for loan approval. Prepare reports, assist with correspondence, reconcile accounts and provide administrative support to the agricultural, commercial and residential/mortgage loan departments.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Organized, detail-oriented individuals with one or more years of banking experience is preferred. Additional qualifications of the position include: Ability to analyze information, identify workable solutions and select the appropriate course of action in an objective, unbiased manner. Advanced customer relationships skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with peers and management in a professional manner. Ability to demonstrate initiative, diligence, and strong organizational skills.
