Mortgage & Consumer Lending Specialist - Lansing We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage & Consumer Lending Specialist to support our lending team with mortgage and consumer loan processing, documentation, and servicing. This full-time position plays an important role in ensuring loan files are complete, accurate, and ready for underwriting and closing.

Responsibilities for this position include:

Preparing and processing residential mortgage and consumer loan files from application through closing Preparing disclosures, coordinating TRID timelines, and collecting required loan documentation Ordering and tracking appraisals, title work, insurance, and other required documentation Maintaining accurate loan information and documentation in mortgage processing systems Coordinating closing packages and working with settlement agents to ensure closing requirements are met Assisting with post-closing file completion, quality control, HMDA reporting, and secondary market documentation Supporting mortgage servicing, including escrow, mortgage insurance, flood insurance, force-placed insurance, and FHLB loan servicing Preparing loan reports and assisting with audits and resolution of post-close findings

Skills We're Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Computer proficiency and ability to learn loan processing systems Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, TRID, and HMDA is a plus Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of mortgage, consumer lending, or loan processing experience. Pay:

$24.00 - $26.45 per hour
