Loan Operations Escrow Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Demonstrated knowledge/experience in loan documentation practices and procedures. Must have good communication skills and have a good interpersonal skills. Must possess tact and ability to effectively relate to customers, officers and others involved in the lending process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Daily AFT Verification 2. Prepares payoff request letters 3. Prepares all verifications 4. Monitors cancelled insurance through exception tracking 5. Process all insurance 6. Forced Placed Insurance process/and payments/policies 7. Flood insurance/policies/cancellations 8. Escrow analysis 9. Escrow insurance payments 10. Escrow tax payments 11. Officer requests 12. Backup for FM processes 13. Backup for Participation Loan processes 14. Manual Payment Posting 15. Back up Credit Card customer assistance 16. Coupon book orders and tracking 17. Enact PMI Invoice/Payments 18. CD Collateral Review 19. Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the bank and its many functions

    Education
    • Specialized training in lending, loan documentation and compliance issues Experience
    • A minimum of 1 to 2 years related experience, preferably within a financial institution environment Other Skills and Abilities
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to interact with customers and employees with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
    • Resourceful, innovative and well organized
    • Ability to assess problems and/or unusual situations and develop logical solutions

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    Work is performed largely within the Bank. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Work hours are generally during normal business hours. Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customers and employees. Occasional travel between offices and out-of-town/overnight business travel required. Some bending, turning, and twisting required. Serves as a representative of the Bank at appropriate functions.
