Job Description

First State Bank is seeking a Mortgage Disclosure Specialist at our Overland Park Mortgage location. If you have experience preparing loan disclosures for residential mortgage lending this may be a good fit for you! 40 hours per week. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Mortgage Disclosure Specialist will perform all duties required of this position by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank, including, but not limited to: Prepares and reviews residential loan disclosures for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with all Regulatory Guidelines to include TRID, Truth-In-Lending, Regulation Z, Regulation B, HMDA, and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). Reviews loan origination system for data integrity. Orders and reviews flood letters and send flood disclosures with initial loan disclosures if applicable. Maintains an open line of communication with Residential Mortgage Lenders and all other parties involved in the transaction. Responsible for sending residential loan disclosures to consumer/borrower within required timelines, including initial disclosure and re-disclosure. Responsible for verifying if address is valid with USPS address verification system. Complete all required compliance training and complies with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act as well as all regulations which apply within the scope of the position.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree is required. One to two years of related experience and/or training required. One year of experience in Processing, Disclosing, or Closing is required. For more information about First State Bank, please visit our
