Description:
The Boston office of Reed Smith is seeking a mid-level to senior-level associate to join the Financial Industry Group (Finance), specifically the Venture Debt & Growth Financing practice. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience representing banks, private credit funds, and other financialinstitutions on the lender side in commercial finance transactions. Experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security and collateral documentation, intercreditor agreements, and closing documents is required. Familiarity with borrowers in the technology, life sciences, fintech, frontier tech and digital assets sectors is strongly preferred, and cross-border transaction experience is a plus. Candidates must be an active member of the Massachusetts bar. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position.
