Commercial Loan ProcessorPosition Summary MINO Lending Solutions is seeking a Commercial Loan Processor to join our Operations team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in building a career in commercial real estate lending. The Commercial Loan Processor will support loans from initial processing through closing by reviewing documentation, coordinating third-party items, tracking conditions, communicating with borrowers and partners, and maintaining accurate loan files. The goal of this role isn't simply to update the file — it's to help move the file. We want someone who will learn to look at a loan and continually ask: What do we need next? What's holding this up? Who do I need to contact? What could prevent this loan from closing? No previous commercial mortgage experience is required. We'll teach the lending side; we're looking for someone with the organization, communication skills, accountability, and curiosity to learn it. Key Responsibilities Review newly submitted loan files for completeness and identify missing documentation. Request and collect outstanding documentation from borrowers. Order and track third-party items, including appraisals, title, insurance, flood, tax, and payoff information. Review incoming documents for completeness and accuracy. Maintain accurate loan information, notes, milestones, conditions, and tasks within the loan origination system. Prepare complete loan files for submission to underwriting and lending partners. Track underwriting conditions and assist with collecting and clearing outstanding items. Communicate directly with borrowers, Loan Officers, lenders, title companies, insurance agents, appraisers, and other third parties. Proactively follow up on outstanding items rather than waiting for updates. Identify and escalate potential issues before they impact the closing timeline. Assist with Clear to Close and closing preparation. Learn lender guidelines and understand the requirements of different commercial loan programs. Follow established processes, checklists, SLAs, and documentation standards. What We're Looking For No commercial mortgage experience is required. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, willing to pick up the phone, and proactive about solving problems. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, follows established processes, learns technology quickly, asks questions when something doesn't make sense, and doesn't need to be repeatedly reminded to follow up on outstanding items. A bachelor's degree or coursework in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is helpful but not required. Previous experience in banking, lending, title, real estate, insurance, customer service, or another deadline-driven environment is a plus. What You'll Learn This position provides hands-on exposure to the entire commercial lending process, including commercial real estate finance, DSCR and investment-property lending, fix-and-flip and bridge loans, underwriting fundamentals, credit analysis, title and insurance, appraisals, lender guidelines, closing, and lending technology.
