Explore Opportunities Today Duties and tasks include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for timely processing of Conventional, FHA and VA mortgage loan applications in compliance with investor requirements. VHDA and NCHFA processing experience a plus. Ensure completeness of mortgage loan applications, clarifying and obtaining additional documentation as needed Prepare loan file for underwriting approval Proactive communication of loan status to originators, borrowers and agents Minimum qualifications: Must be located in the North Raleigh/ Wake Forest area. At least 3-5 years of experience processing mortgage loan applications Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, bond and conventional underwriting guidelines and loan process Prefer working knowledge of Encompass loan origination system Ability to review AUS findings and guidelines prior to loan submission to confirm that application fits loan program applied for Proficient in Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA) New Construction experience preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to manage priorities and workflow Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
