If so, we are looking for you! We are seeking a skilled and organized Loan Processor to support our Consumer and Ag/Commercial Lending teams in our Edgeley, ND office . This position plays a critical role in gathering, reviewing, and processing loan documentation, coordinating loan closings, and ensuring loans are completed accurately and efficiently. Loan Processor Responsibilities Assist consumer, agricultural, and commercial loan officers throughout the loan origination, approval, and closing process. Gather, review, and verify documentation from borrowers to ensure complete loan applications. Obtain and review credit reports, financial statements, tax returns, collateral information, insurance documentation, and other required loan documents. Order and track third-party reports and documentation, including appraisals, title work, lien searches, flood determinations, inspections, and collateral valuations. Prepare loan documents and accurately input loan information into applicable systems. Coordinate loan closings and ensure all required documents, signatures, collateral filings, and conditions are completed prior to funding. Maintain accurate loan records and documentation throughout the life of the loan process. Ensure loan files comply with internal policies, lending guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. Review collateral documentation and assist with lien perfection, UCC filings, title work, and insurance requirements as needed. Generate and distribute loan payment notices, past-due notices, escrow-related correspondence, and other loan servicing communications. Answer member inquiries and provide outstanding service regarding loan applications, documentation requirements, payment information, and general loan servicing matters. Collaborate closely with loan officers, management, members, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, and other third parties to facilitate efficient loan processing and closing. Assist with periodic reporting, audits, and quality control reviews of loan files. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of loan processing, lending support, financial services, banking, credit union, or related office experience preferred. Experience with consumer, agricultural, commercial, or commercial real estate lending is preferred. Working knowledge of loan documentation, collateral documentation, title work, and loan closing processes. Familiarity with loan processing and document preparation systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing exceptional member service. Preferred Experience Consumer lending documentation and processing. Agricultural and commercial loan documentation. Commercial real estate loan processing. Collateral perfection, UCC filings, vehicle titles, and lien documentation. Regulatory compliance and loan file quality control. Credit union or community banking experience.
