Job Description
Job Overview Come work at Dakota Plains Credit Union. We are looking to hire an experienced Operations Assistant and Card Expert to help us keep growing. This position can work in any of our three branch offices: Edgeley, Ellendale, or Enderlin, ND. There is an option to work in a remote office in Aberdeen, SD as well. Responsibilities for Operations Assistant Manage debit and credit card programs, including fraud prevention, disputes, and rewards administration. Oversee ATM cash and vault limits. Support branch operations through research, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Generate operational reports and communicate key information to management. Administer IRA systems, including required minimum distributions (RMDs). Coordinate and assist with special projects, audits, and regulatory examinations. Manage vendor due diligence and compliance documentation. Partner with the Operations Manager to support daily operational activities. Collaborate across departments and branches to ensure efficient processing and service delivery. Monitor operational performance standards and recommend improvements. Promote credit union products and services. Assist members and staff with inquiries and operational support. Perform month-end processing and reporting functions. Compile and distribute reports to appropriate departments and stakeholders. Qualifications for Operations Assistant Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and ability to learn new technology systems. Excellent time management and organizational abilities, strong attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and information. Experience in a professional business environment preferred. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
