Job Description The PLP Modification Documentation Analyst is responsible for reviewing approved credit requests and preparing accurate, compliant loan modification documentation for the Professional Loan Program. This role requires a strong understanding of transaction structure, approved terms, governing documents, and applicable due diligence requirements, including KYC and FinCEN considerations. The analyst partners closely with underwriting, compliance, legal, and lending partners to verify conditions are met, mitigate operational risk, and ensure documentation is completed accurately and delivered in a timely manner. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, effective communication, and the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while supporting a consistent, high-quality client experience. Core Responsibilities Review approved credit requests to understand transaction structure, terms, covenants, and credit support requirements. Interpret Professional Loan Program requirements and ensure all documentation aligns with approved credit terms and internal standards. Verify that all pre-closing conditions, controls, and required due diligence have been satisfied, including applicable KYC and FinCEN requirements. Prepare accurate loan modification documentation packages in accordance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements. Conduct quality reviews of documentation prepared by peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency before client delivery. Deliver modification packages to clients for execution or notification, as applicable, and ensure timely follow-through. Coordinate with internal partners to ensure modification terms are accurately reflected in loan systems, records, and operational workflows. Partner with Underwriting/Credit, Compliance, Legal, and PLP Lending/Sales teams to resolve issues, improve transparency, and enhance the client experience. Manage an individual pipeline of transactions, provide clear status updates, and escalate issues or risks as appropriate. Monitor and respond to team inbox requests within established service expectations. Support training, knowledge sharing, and process documentation to strengthen team capability and consistency. Identify and communicate process gaps, training needs, and opportunities for operational improvement to management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience in loan documentation, credit operations, lending, underwriting support, or a related financial services environment. Strong ability to interpret credit approvals, legal documentation, and operational requirements with a high degree of accuracy. Working knowledge of regulatory and due diligence requirements, including KYC and FinCEN concepts. Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn internal lending and workflow systems quickly.
