Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking a Closing Specialist for a Mortgage and Title company in Pennsylvania. This is a contract to hire opportunity with potential for long term employment. This is an onsite position. $19.50-$26/HR The Closing Specialist is responsible for performing the duties such as assembling, preparing, and reviewing/verifying documents for a loan closing while ensuring all applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements are met. In this position you will effectively manage a pipeline to ensure all transactions are processed according to service level agreements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the title company, lender and the borrower. Strong understanding of ResWare Deliver high quality accurate results while adhering to strict deadlines. Prepare preliminary settlement statements for lender. Create CD/ALTA settlement statements for closing packages. Make all necessary changes for final lender approval and send it to external settlement agent. Perform final check for title fees, taxes, premium, endorsement, vesting and all other checklist items prior to sending to closing. Prepare final document packages for settlement agents. Assist with post-closing CD/ALTA changes and approvals. Assist with on-call coverage as needed. Assist with alternate shifts/weekend coverage when needed. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required 1-3 years of title/mortgage or financial company preferred. 1+ years of mortgage loan closing experience Title experience preferred. Excellent communication Confident in Decision-making skills Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
