Position Overview We're expanding our lending operations and seeking a motivated Loan Processor to join our team. This role is central to our lending process — ensuring loans move from commitment to closing quickly, accurately, and professionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing borrowers, title companies, and lenders. Responsibilities Manage loan files from commitment through closing. Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, title companies, and lenders throughout the closing process. Work directly with borrowers to gather and verify all lender requirements in a timely manner, including title, insurance, entity documents, bank statements, tax returns, etc. Order and track appraisals Communicate underwriting conditions clearly with borrowers Coordinate closings with title and lender closing departments Track key milestones and proactively manage closing timelines to ensure smooth, on-time settlements. Identify and resolve potential issues before closing; make informed decisions to keep deals on track. Uphold SPG Capital's high standards for responsiveness, accuracy, and execution in every transaction. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience in lending, title, or real estate transactions preferred but not required. Familiarity with Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) lending preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple active deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and the capability of learning new systems quickly.
