Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry and Processing Clerk for an opportunity in Philadelphia, PA for an evening/ second shift. This role supports banking and consumer lending operations by processing payments, preparing documents, verifying transactions, entering data, and helping ensure daily production goals are met accurately and on time. This is a strong opportunity for candidates who enjoy structured work, clear procedures, and a production-focused office environment. You will work with supportive team members and leadership while developing practical experience in financial operations, payment processing, document handling, and compliance-driven workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, prepare, and distribute incoming payments, documents, correspondence, and outgoing mail.
- Perform accurate data entry, transaction verification, document review, and payment processing tasks.
- Operate or support electronic and mechanical processing equipment to complete daily workload requirements.
- Balance processed work, identify routine exceptions, and escalate issues according to established procedures.
- Follow operational procedures, quality standards, controls, and compliance requirements in a production environment.
- Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and business partners to resolve issues and meet processing deadlines. Additional information

Duration:
6 months with potential extension or conversion to full time employment. Required Qualifications and Skills- 6+ months of operations experience, or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple applications, perform data entry, use email, use Microsoft Office tools, and learn new processing systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review, verify, and process payments, documents, and correspondence.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with team members, supervisors, and business partners.
- Ability to manage workload, meet productivity expectations, and work accurately in a deadline-driven environment.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, strong work ethic, and consistent daily performance.
- Ability to follow close supervision, established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in lockbox operations, payment processing, banking operations, or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a large banking operations environment with established internal processes and controls.
