Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Closing Processor to join our team specializing in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of a real estate or mortgage loan closing, ensuring that documents, approvals and funds are properly handled while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in real estate, closing processing, and client communication to contribute to smooth property closings and accurate documentation processing. Role and Responsibilities The main responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing documents: Organize loan files, settlement statements, and closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission to underwriters, lenders and clients.
  • Coordinating with parties: Communicate with clients, borrowers, realtors, underwriters, loan officers, and escrow officers to ensure all conditions are met and closing dates are achieved.
  • Clearing title issues: Review title abstracts, research and solve title issues, resolve discrepancies, and prepare title insurance commitments and policies.
  • Managing closing conditions: Follow up on outstanding loan conditions, and title requirements such as payoffs, taxes, and utilities to ensure smooth closings.
  • Post-closing support: Handle post-closing documentation, funding procedures, and recording activities.
Skills Strong knowledge of mortgage and title processing procedures Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience with settlement software and digital closing platforms Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Additional Company Benefits
