Per Hour Loan Document Specialist Job Description Branch Details Position Summary:
Quaint Oak Bank is a growing community bank seeking an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist to document, review and close commercial loans and modifications, including CRE, C&I and SBA loans. Additional responsibilities will include coordination of settlements, including funding, with all parties and post-closing due diligence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the Credit Analysts, Commercial Relationship Manager, Attorneys, SBA 7a team in preparing settlement documentation packages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and legibility of data entry and documentation for new credit facilities, existing loan modifications, and satisfactions
  • Communicate with customers, lending personnel, bank counsel, loan servicing personnel, insurance companies and title companies
  • Post-closing responsibilities include the review and audit of loan documentation to ensure proper execution of documents, verification of loan funding, file UCCs and other compliance related duties
  • Process search requests for the Credit Analysts
  • Engage bank approved appraisers and environmental firms
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as they may apply
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Must be proficient in LaserPro (minimum 5 years' experience)
  • Thorough understanding of commercial loan documentation including Commercial Real Estate, C&I, SBA 504, SBA 7a, construction, modifications and satisfactions.
  • General understanding of credit analysis
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers, employees of the organization, and third-party Maintenance
