Foreclosure Specialist- Remote
Job Description
Vaco is seeing a fully remote Foreclosure Specialist for a top client. This Foreclosure Specialist will focus on monitoring foreclosure vendors to ensure residential mortgage loans are processed accurately and timely in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, as well as investor requirements. This is a fully remote contract to hire position that is paying up to $27/HR DOE. Interviews are being held immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee mortgage loans from initial foreclosure referral through resolution.
- Serve as a key point of contact for foreclosure counsel, trustees, and third-party service providers.
- Monitor critical dates, statutory requirements, and foreclosure milestones to prevent delays.
- Maintain accurate loan information, system records, and supporting foreclosure documentation.
- Prepare and communicate reinstatement, payoff, and other loan-related figures as needed.
- Ensure foreclosure activities adhere to investor, government, federal, state, and regulatory requirements, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines.
- Audit foreclosure expenses, legal fees, and related charges for accuracy and compliance prior to approval.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Mortgage Foreclosure experience
