- Job Description
- Oversee the closing and funding of first mortgage and equity loans in compliance with federal/state regulations and business policies. Prepare and deliver loan packages to settlement companies for conventional, VA, and FHA products, and coordinate all aspects of the closing process.
- Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end closing and funding of first mortgage and equity loans, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and business policies
- Review and validate credit packages, title work, property documentation, insurance, and closing conditions for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare, review, and distribute closing documents (including Closing Disclosure) while ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., RESPA)
- Coordinate and schedule closings with settlement agents, attorneys, realtors, members, and internal teams while maintaining clear communication throughout the process
- Calculate and process loan disbursements, resolve title issues, and prepare completed loan files for post-closing
- Qualifications
- Experience closing first mortgage and/or equity loans in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, including VA and conventional loan programs
- Ability to interpret and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work professionally under pressure with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in administrative processes, automated systems, and accurate mathematical calculations

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.44 - $18.44/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
