In this energetic role, you will coordinate and manage the processing of mortgage loan applications, ensuring all documentation and compliance standards are meticulously met. Your expertise will help streamline the loan approval process, providing exceptional service to clients while adhering to industry regulations. Duties Review and verify all loan documentation, including income, employment, credit reports, and property details to ensure completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to gather necessary information for loan approval. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure), Fair Housing laws, and other mortgage servicing standards. Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval using industry-standard software like Encompass or similar platforms. Maintain clear internal communication with team members regarding loan status updates and required actions. Monitor loan progress through each stage of processing, from application intake to final approval or denial. Stay current on industry knowledge of Non qm, Dscr, Commercial, FNMA (Fannie Mae), FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs) loans, and conventional mortgage loans to ensure accurate processing and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in loan origination, mortgage servicing, or as a loan officer within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of lending processes, including mortgage documentation, credit analysis, underwriting, and compliance with loan regulations. Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, FHA/VA loans, TILA, TRID regulations, and banking regulatory compliance standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and industry-specific software such as Encompass or equivalent mortgage processing tools. Excellent attention to detail with strong math skills including basic math calculations related to escrow and amortization schedules. Effective internal communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and clients. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy under tight deadlines.
