The team works together to ensure mortgage loans are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. Position Overview The Residential Lending Processor II is responsible for the efficient and timely processing of mortgage and home equity loans from application through funding. This role proactively manages a pipeline of loan files, ensuring underwriting conditions, documentation requirements, and compliance standards are met throughout the lending process. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with members, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party partners. Processor II plays an important role in delivering smooth and supportive lending experience for members while helping the Residential Lending team meet production and service goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the loan processing pipeline by performing daily analysis, identifying priorities, tracking deadlines, and ensuring mortgage and home equity loans progress efficiently from application through funding. Review and process loan documentation by verifying the accuracy and completeness of applications and supporting documentation, including income, employment, assets, title work, appraisals, and flood determinations. Ensure regulatory and compliance accuracy by preparing and delivering required mortgage disclosures and maintaining adherence to applicable lending regulations, TRID requirements, and credit union policies. Clear underwriting conditions and maintain loan timelines by resolving outstanding conditions, monitoring rate locks and approval expirations, and coordinating with underwriting to keep loans on track for closing. Provide proactive communication and coordination with members, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party partners to deliver status updates, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth and timely mortgage experience.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of mortgage processing and pipeline management experience or 3+ years of mortgage lending experience. Strong knowledge of mortgage documentation and verification requirements, including income, assets, credit, and title documentation. Working knowledge of mortgage regulations, compliance requirements, and disclosure timelines. Proven ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, accuracy, and communication with members and internal partners.
