This role focuses on gathering and validating closing documentation, preparing accurate loan packages, and coordinating with internal and external parties to move transactions to funding efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of SBA lending standards, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple files while maintaining compliance and documentation quality.

This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
  • Review closing files in detail to confirm all required documents, title materials, lien searches, and supporting records are complete, accurate, and aligned with approved loan terms.
  • Create and manage closing checklists for each transaction, tracking outstanding conditions and following through to ensure all items are satisfied before closing.
  • Assemble and organize loan packages in accordance with SBA program standards, regulatory expectations, and internal documentation requirements.
  • Submit and secure SBA approvals through E-Tran and prepare authorization documents that reflect the structure, conditions, and credit terms of each transaction.

  • Confirm that collateral documentation is properly handled and that liens are recorded and perfected in the correct position to protect the bank's interest.
  • Maintain clear file records and communicate status updates, risks, and outstanding conditions to relevant stakeholders throughout the closing cycle.
